Continued Growth At GatesmanMarmion+Dave Calls For New Hires
PITTSBURGH, Pa. –December 29, 2011 – GatesmanMarmion+Dave, one of Pittsburgh's premier advertising agencies, announced today the addition of Cindy Crain as Controller, Kathy Amato as Senior Production Artist and Lindsey Melnyk as Media Planner and Buyer.
Cindy Crain brings more than 15 years of accounting experience to the agency and will lead the finance department as Controller. Crain most recently held the title of CFO and VP of Administration for Junior Achievement where she was responsible for the financial and human resource operations of the organization. Previous to her position at Junior Achievement, Crain developed her expertise in finance and management as an entrepreneur during which time she co-owned and operated several fitness franchises in the Pittsburgh market. Crain also gained experience through the first four years of her career as an Auditor for Deloitte in the service and high tech industries. Crain is an active member of professional organizations including The United Way Women's Leadership Council, Pittsburgh Human Resource Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kathy Amato joins the creative team with 18 years of experience and was most recently a production coordinator at Brunner. Amato's wide variety of client work includes Zippo, Cub Cadet, Sheetz, PNC Bank, CONSOL Energy, Huffy, Musselmans, GlaxoSmithKline, PPG and Bob Evans. While at Brunner, her contributions helped earn more than 100 Addy Awards and other national awards.
Lindsey Melnyk joins the GatesmanMarmion+Dave media team after spending time at MARC USA where she worked as media planner and buyer with experience in buying local radio and TV spots, consumer magazines, newspaper and digital SEM. Melnyk worked with a variety of clients including The Pennsylvania Lottery, Rite Aid and True Value Hardware. At GatesmanMarmion+Dave, Melnyk will contribute to the UPMC and The Energy Alliance of Greater Pittsburgh accounts.
